Matt, it's possible to set something like that up if you have the Mac app, but we were hoping that the Forecast view would help for that sort of short-term planning. (It shows the tasks due in the next 7 days.)
You adapt the steps in
this post to can create a perspective similar to the one you're looking for. You'll want to create it on the Mac, then sync it over to your iPad.
Sounds like you'd want all the the "Due within the Last <time>" groups expanded, plus the "Due Today" and "Due Tomorrow" groups. (The next largest group is "Due in the Next Week", but that's farther out than you wanted to go.)
