I have been looking at some note taking applications and have downloaded a trial version of TaskPaper. TaskPaper has a feature where a keystroke from inside any application opens a top level window allowing the entry of a new note. While I am impressed with this aspect of TaskPaper I already own OmniOutliner and was wondering if there is any way of emulating this function with either a 3rd party application or Applescript.
Any thoughts?
