I've been thinking a lot about using Omnifocus as a general "verb control" tool (semantic masturbation perhaps but I prefer the word "verb" to "task" or "action" because it forces you to develop a concise vocabulary of things you can do/not do with stuff).
I think that Instapaper's new support for OF lets you do some pretty sweet stuff, like helping you construct articles / posts, to directly extract the verbs which go straight into Omnifocus.
I have in mind a student who is able to manage their research project in the same system as their shopping. The workflow is a bit crude but I've posted on the topic here:
