Thanks Brian, but no joy.

I think part of the problem may be that I need to assign the same "context" to multiple iCal calendars. For example, I have an iCal calendar for projects and deadlines for one company that I do a lot for, and then another for another company that I do a lot for. I keep them separate so I can isolate the calendars without screen clutter. But they are both "work" contexts. OF will only let me assign the "work" context to one calendar.

I did check the blocked actions box and that didn't do the trick.
