I have been having the same problem - the first time it happened, it scared the heck out of me (I've been using the app for about a week now, and have basically transferred my life onto it). Having to shut down and restart is not the greatest thing, but it's better than losing my data, I suppose.

I sent an email earlier this evening, but wanted to post a note here as well. It would be helpful to know what's causing it to happen so I can try and avoid doing that until the software is fixed (most of the time I *can* use Forecast without any problem - it just happens once in awhile).
