With all the RSS reader tools out there from free (Google Reader) to pay (NetNewsWire) is OmniWeb still going to stay in the RSS game?

The other thing to consider is that the new version of Apple's Mail (.app) will have RSS built in.

The one thing missing from ALL RSS readers is an easy and simple OPML sync.

It would be nice, unlike email, that you could just pick one of many different readers and use them in different places but never have to worry about keeping upto date anything.
