How to I stop a line from insisting on connecting itself to the nearest shape? I have an octagon shape in the middle of the page. I start to draw a line outside of the octagon and want to extend it inside the octagon but the line insists on attaching itself to the border of the octagon and won't go any further. I've tried turning of all auto functions and guides. Driving me nuts!
