I typically access my Gmail accounts directly in Apple Mail. I just visited Gmail's Web interface and encountered a problem loading the initial page -- the blue progress bar stalled very near the end, and Gmail eventually reported it was having a problem.

When Gmail worked fine in Firefox, I thought I'd try spoofing as Firefox. It turned out I'd set Firefox spoofing a long time ago.

Turning off spoofing cleared up the problem opening Gmail's Web interface.
