But PM tools should be on every computer desktop in the world, not just in the hands of project managers, because everyone does projects, and all project contributors should be involved in the planning process.

And that's the biggest reason why OmniPlan is of no use to me. I need something that covers the key aspects of project management. OmniPlan lacks a big aspect and that is communication. If others involved in the project cannot easily see and at least comment on if not modify aspects of a project, it's only slightly better than just using my head.
