Is there a way to select a number of objects, which exist in different layers and have the copy-paste commands preserve their layering relationships on paste? When I copy paste with objects in multiple layers, the final paste always ends up in a single layer (the current drawing layer). It would be an amazing time saver to have objects appear in their originating layers.
