I'd be interested in hearing how this would work, in general. Its not clear. What is the advantage of using OO for any sort of editing, other than outlines?

I have been trying to use applescript to generate LaTeX equations from text and paste them into OO, but this appears to be impossible -- there is no "paste" or "insert graphic" functionality available from AppleScript.
