I agree with OF being a chore to use! Often times it seems like I spend too much time managing the system as opposed to getting things done.

I have an "on again - off again" flirtation with Things. It is not a chore to use. I think it does a better job on 3 of the 4 points mentioned by Rob.

1. Things has a nice global search feature.
2. Tags can be used anyway you want, items can have multiple tags. Very nice as opposed to a single context.
3. ?
4. Things has a better User Interface IMO.

However, Things has some issues that OF handles well. The lack of nested tasks and folders is the major issue for me.

I'm hopeful that OF 2.0 solves some of these issues.
