Is there any way to enable smart guides for line labels? For example, I'd like to align the labels of a series of parallel lines of different lengths.

Currently, I make the labels separately from the lines, arrange them as I like, and then individually give them a little bump to lock onto the line. This isn't precise though, and seems like an unnecessary extra step.
