OK cool, I have a feeling I tried that before and it reverted but maybe it's only when I actually delete the wildcard entry that it comes back.
The only (minor) problem with this though is that the functionality of assuming
www.%@.com is otherwise a good thing. I don't have a locally hosted omnigroup for example, so if I type in omnigroup it would be good if it went to
www.omnigroup.com. On the one hand I think well I can't have my cake and eat it too, but on the other hand other browsers deal with this with no problems (presumably by trying to resolve the address before deciding to add .com). As I said this is a minor issue, as for most of my regular sites I have a keyword anyway set up with my bookmark.
