This is the expected behavior - the Archive sheet warns that your should always archive on the same computer in order to have a single archive of all your historical data.

If you haven't already done so, please send a feature request for synchronizing the archive as well, by choosing "Send Feedback" from the Help menu. This will ensure that the feature request gets tracked, and gets considered when planning out future releases, and combines your voice with that of anyone else making similar requests.
