If you go to the
Extras page on the OmniOutliner web page, there's a collection of useful scripts there (called "Useful Scripts"). One of the contained scripts is called "Set Value of Selected Rows" and it will allow you to paste in the value to the appropriate column in all of the selected rows (so unlike Excel, you can do only some of them).
