25%? Is that all? I often get 90% or more :-)

There are some things in OmniFocus that seem to be done inefficiently. When you see the CPU utilization go up and stay up, use Activity Monitor to sample the OmniFocus process and send in a report with Help->Send Feedback including the sample(s). Some of the cases got fixed in the 1.9 release, but there were others that were judged too destabilizing to fix right before release, and I doubt they've identified all of the inefficiencies, much less fixed them all. Customer data should help bump up the priority...
