I worked with the person that originally reported this problem; his Mac was always able to sync, but most of the time, his iPhone wasn't able to do so. (It would, on rare occasions, succeed.)

He also was unable to sync with a sharemation.com account - they provide free WebDAV accounts, and several of our customers use them to sync their data.

The problem looked to be something about their specific network setup - a firewall was blocking the phone from making a secure http connection, only specific devices were allowed to do WebDAV, or something like that. We never fully resolved the issue as far as I know, though.

My advice would be to set up an account on http://www.sharemation.com and see if you're similarly unable to sync with them. Once you know that, send an email to the support ninjas and we'll try to help.
