A simple network preference to prevent connections to foreign servers.
Example if I enter an address in the address bar such as
http://www.pcper.com/
I want the browser to connect and load data only from
http://www.pcper.com/ and not:
http://ad.doubleclick.net/
http://bitcast-b.bitgravity.com/
http://ctxtad.tribalfusion.com/
http://edge.quantserve.com/
http://partner.googleadservices.com/
http://pubads.g.doubleclick.net/
http://static.chartbeat.com/
http://www.google-analytics.com/
Page loads are slowed considerably while the browser is trying to connected to so many (often excruciatingly slow) 3rd party servers.
It has become a never ending battle keeping my Hosts file up to date with all these servers.
