Could someone please explain how you draw a straight line in OG (Mac) that doesn't connect to any other objects on the canvas (without creating it on a new layer)? According to this
post, if you select the Line tool and hold down both the Shift and Alt/Option keys while clicking once where the line should start and once again where it should end, you'll get your line. However, when I do it, I do get a line but then a second line appears at the endpoint and connects to another object. This is incredibly frustrating. :(
