For "basic application" questions, I'd recommend reading/posting in the "Applying OmniFocus" forum (
http://forums.omnigroup.com/forumdisplay.php?f=51). There's some great info in there. You might even just start a "basics of GTD" thread -- I'm sure you'll get some great help from the other posters.
If you aren't able to find the answers you need there, I'd be happy to answer a few of your GTD questions. I don't consider myself an expert, per se, but I've read the book several times, the concepts seem very clear to me, and I've been able to apply many of them in my life, even before I started using OF. Once you understand the concepts of GTD and how it works, it then becomes much easier to apply/use those concepts, whether you're using software like OmniFocus or just using plain paper.

If you have questions about specific things David Allen talks about in his book, please include a page number so I know which part you're referring to.
