Can't get the sort order to show you oldest first, but if you use grouping you can make it a bit less painful.

View→Context Mode
View→Grouping→Added
View→Sorting→Added
View→Availability Filter→Remaining
View→Status Filter→Any Status
View→Estimated Time Filter→Any Duration

Now close the groups for the more recent entries, and save as a perspective, checking the Restore: Expansion box so that it will remember how you had the groups opened or closed.

This will give you a view in chronological order by date added, with the oldest items at the bottom of the list. You can use the inspector to see exactly when an item was added. Or maybe just set yourself a goal of knocking off an action from the bottom screenful each day.
