It might be a useful research tool if it could track and compare perceived commitment and satisfaction to actual performance. I assume that latter might be gleaned if fields existed to track objective performance criteria (i.e. time spent to complete, frequency a recurring/repeated task is completed, distance covered, etc.).

Stepping back to look at your idea from a more general perspective, it appears that you are suggesting functionality that allows retrospective analysis with a nod towards more strategic life planning. Would that be a fair summary?
