I believe that you can only get tasks into a task list on iCal, not the Calendar portion (which I would have found to be useful). There is a way to have tasks appear in iCal the day they are due. I believe this is done through the iPhone version of OF (I am not in front of my OF for the Mac, so I could be wrong). It is in the OF for iPhone settings under the Dates section - Calendar Export.
