Given:

1. The frequent calls on this forum for Priority and Tag fields,
2. the sage resistance of the senior talmudic authorities to hard-wiring priorities (and tags?) into the architecture,

it would be wonderful to have (sortable) user-defined columns in the manner of Omnioutliner.

Possibly a bit ambitious for release 1.0, but it would allow the public to get what they want without imposing an unaesthetic architecture on the purists.

It would provide, for example, a way of importing priority and tag fields from iGTD without committing Omnifocus to having such fields.
