You can create a perspective based on context view, where actions are filtered to just show those 'Due Soon' - this will show actions due within whatever time period you have set under the Data section in OF prefs. Unfortunately of course this will also affect any view where you filter by 'Due soon', but nevertheless would do the job for you.

Personally, I would also value the ability to filter by 'Today' as well as 'Due soon', since sometimes I want to be aware of deadlines coming up and at other times I really want to focus on NOW.

The workaround I've been using in the meantime is to filter by 'Due soon' (within 2 days), then flag actions due today, and then filter to show only flagged, but this is a bit cumbersome and takes time.

If anyone knows of a quicker way, I'd be grateful to hear it too. ;-)
