Aha...when you try to add it to your cart you get some more useful information:
Quote:
Family Pack licenses permit you to install and use the software on up to 5 computers at a time as long as those computers are located in the same household (portables which are used primarily in this household are included) and used by persons who occupy that same household. By "household" we mean a person or persons sharing the same housing unit such as a home, apartment, mobile home or condominium. This license does not extend to students who reside at a separate on-campus location or to business or commercial users.

If you are a business or organization interested in volume licensing, please contact sales@omnigroup.com.

(Checkbox) I understand and accept that this license is for domestic household use only, not for businesses or organizations, or for other commercial use.
I'm confused about this commercial use restriction. The whole point of OF is to organize my life, work included. So am I not allowed to use a family pack license for work? That would be a real problem. Or is this just intended to keep people from calling their office a "household"?

p.s.: Omni's family license appears to be modeled after Apple's family pack license (e.g. for iLife):
Quote:
The Family Pack Software License Agreement allows you to install and use one copy of the Apple Software on up to a maximum of five (5) Apple-labeled computers at a time as long as those computers are located in the same household and used by persons who occupy that same household. By “household” we mean a person or persons sharing the same housing unit such as a home, apartment, mobile home or condominium. This license does not extend to students who reside at a separate on-campus location or to business or commercial users.
But I noticed something different in Leopard's family pack license:
Quote:
The Family Pack Software License Agreement allows you to install and use one copy of the Apple software on up to a maximum of five (5) Apple-labeled computers at a time as long as those computers are located in the same household and used by persons who occupy that household. This license does not extend to business or commercial users.
Might Omni follow suit and include on-campus household members? (Not that this applies to me...I'm just curious.)
