Actually, zoom features are likely to be quite relevant; WebKit recently added Full-Page Zoom a la Opera, and rather than Opera's Fid To Width feature, which alters the rendering of the page, it would be interesting to see OW supporting Full Page Zoom, with snapping to the window size somewhat like Mobile Safari's zoom-snap feature.

i.e. rather than a zoom action causeing the rendered page to exceed the current window width, the page zoom would snap to that width. This would avoid horizontal scroll bars (which can make scrolling a bit more awkward.)

Of course the user could continue to zoom, thereby forcing horizontal scrollbars, as needed.

Agreed, basically the features of Safari/WebKit in this regard.
