Another person who was about to sign up with mobileme because my web hosting service (lunarpages) doesn't support webDAV. I went with mydrive.ch and so far so good. It took all of about 30 seconds to make it work.

I figure if it all goes to hell, then no big deal. The databases are backed up on my computer and the worst that can happen is I lose a days worth of omnifocussing.

I used keychain access to create a password for me and have it saved there so as to not forget it and never be able to retrieve it.
