I have set up a networked disk via Swissdisk and am trying to keep Omnifocus synced with two computers.

I've got myself confused however. I have accidentally opened the file directly from my shared drive "disk.swissdisk.com" by double clicking on it. I'm pretty sure that I'm supposed to by synching to that location not editing it directly.

I've used spotlight to search for .ofocus files but all I'm turning up are .ofocus-backup files and then individual actions.

Is there a default location for my .ofocus file? Should I be editing the remote file? Omnifocus opens the last used file automatically so I think I'm stuck with the remote file unless I can find a previous one.

This all seems sort of silly so thanks for your patience with me.

OmniFocus keeps its local database in Library/Application Support/OmniFocus/OmniFocus.ofocus in your home directory.
