I've been using Omnifocus for about a year, at first on the Mac and iPhone and later on the iPad as well. It all worked amazing and I never had to think about being without one of the platforms. Two months ago I made the switch from iPhone to Android. I safely assumed I'd find an alternative for Omnifocus. Nothing even came close. So I went back to Omnifocus, even though it feels a bit incomplete without the iPhone app. The Mac app is still amazing without the iPhone app, but it does call for a more mobile solution.
I'm pretty sure a lot of people who are using the OF Mac app are also using the iPhone app, but there should also be some people here who neither use the iPhone app nor bring their Mac or iPad with them everywhere. I was hoping to discuss ways for Mac app users to always keep their task lists close to them without the use of the iPhone app. If it's Android specific solutions, good. If not, it's still good.
I'm currently using the nifty applescript provided by iNik (below) to export an HTML file of tasks within a perspective to my public dropbox folder. The public url given by Dropbox is then bookmarked on my Android. Lingon 3 (available in the Mac app store) is used to run the export script at certain intervals. Inboxing without the iPhone app doesn't seem like a problem, since there's lots of apps available for that (or just pen and paper).
How do you other iPhoneless OF users get around?
P.S. I was hoping to avoid the "Should OF be developed for Android/Windows/Linux/Sega Mega Drive?" discussion. It's pretty far from the point of this thread.
