I don't know what terms to use to search for this question so I'm sorry if it had already been asked. I am compiling data on products that I want to place in a list. I need to be able to list the manufacturer, product description, the size and the store it's available in. The tricky part is I need to have the ability to sort the list by column or filter out items. Basically I need a list that can be sorted and arranged like songs can be arranged and sorted in iTunes. I need to export this data in list form with this sorting and filtering too. I don't know how or what the best program to do this would be. I don't own filemaker and I can't afford it for this project!

You can do all of this in OmniOutliner except for the filtering. Filtering is something we're planning to add for OO4.

If you think you can get by without filtering, you can give OO a try by requesting a trial license.
