Let's say that I'm trying to enter the date "August 21st 2012" in OmniFocus. In my country we would enter the date as 21.8.2012 or 21.8.12.
My problem is that OmniFocus only understands the date if it is entered as 21.8.2012, it doesn't recognize the short format 21.8.12. It does, however, recognize the short format if it is entered with slashes rather than dots as the date separators (as in 21/8/12 or even just 21/8). I have checked repeatedly that my long and short date format is 21.8.12 in System Preferences.
It's not a big deal but I wanted to ask in case there was an easy way to fix the issue.
