Hi everybody,
I am starting my first steps with Omnifocus for the iphone.
I really love the workflow, as a user that has migrated from RTM (remember the milk) is really a giant step forward.
However, there are some things I do not know how to archive with OF.
The most basic one is how to access the Calendar and Tickler information.
For me, the Calendar are those tasks that MUST be done in a particular date (e.g., a birthday, a medical appointment, a flight departure, etc.). For that I use the "due date" field.
The tickler are those tasks that CAN be done from a particular date, but not in that same day, it can be done later if needed. For that I use the "start date" field.
My problem is: How can access that information 'in a vertical manner' (for all projects/lists at the same time? I need to have that for my weekly review, as well as for fast checking
For example, when somebody ask me 'Hey, do you want play tennis this friday?, I would check if there is something in my calendar for that day so I can say 'Yes' or 'No'. I do not want to go project by project checking this.
The only way I can think of doing this is to use an applescript to export the tasks with due date to ical, and then sync that ical with the iphone. But I would like to know if there is a better way to do this.
Thanks for any advice!
