MapQuest's "Saved & Recent" does nothing Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
The address forms on MapQuest's home page have a JavaScript-based "Saved & Recent" popup window that saves numerous keystrokes and avoids typos.

This popup works fine in Safari 2.0.3.

In OmniWeb 5.1.3, it works after a fashion. That is, if you're careful (or lucky) you can select addresses from the popup window. However, if there's a form field behind the click location, the click is delivered to the form, and the popup simply disappears.

The "Saved & Recent" popup never appears in OmniWeb 5.5sp4, WebKit r12177, or the WebKit from early this morning.

It's worse than nothing here. It causes SP7 to take hordes of CPU time.

Although "Saved & Recent" is still non-functional in SP9, this new release seems to be more MapQuest-friend. I can now type into text fields without a beach ball every 1-2 characters.
