I've got a handful of bookmarks that are set to check for changes on an hourly basis. Some are RSS feeds. I installed 5.6 final last night, and it hasn't found a single update since. I just went and clicked "check now" even though that particular bookmark was set to check on an hourly basis, and it found 10 updates. (That's for woot.com - there's a woot off right now.)
