How much data is transferred when syncing?

I am paying $2.6 per Megabyte on data on 3G, so I am curious how much data is transferred for each sync?

Can I look at the webdav storage and determine the transferred data compared to one of the files?

In example; is the data transferred 2x one of the data files.?
