Hi, (simple question probably)

1.)
After adding "Extra & Off Hours" on weekends, those extra-hours don't show in the tasks window (the main window) anyway.

Looked in the UG & forums, cannot find an answer, and need it ASAP.

Please if you know the answer ...

2.)
As a feature request, I'd like to set my projects with those designated Extra & Off Hours as a default.

Hmm, it seems to work for me:





However, you need to be careful about adding the extra hours to the right week(s) — it's a different set for each week if you are using the extra & off hours, as opposed to changing the normal schedule for the project.

Well, thank you so far.

However your example is inconclusive as it doesn't show the amount of time for may 12th (Saturday) for which you assigned extra hours.

What do you mean it doesn't show them? Maybe you need to scroll your window to the right to see the whole diagram.

I see a section of the Gantt chart labeled Sat May 12 in my earlier screenshot. Below, I've put in a task starting at 10 AM (within the 9 AM - 3 PM block I added to Sat May 12) and changed the view a bit.

Sorry, I forgot to answer this part.

There's a template facility in OmniPlan that can be used to do this sort of thing. See the built-in help for "Using templates" for the details.

But did you see my pic. where the extra hours for the weekend don't show?

Both days have no white area, only grey.

That was what I mean.

It looks like you've added extra hours to the resource, but not the project. No hours will be assigned that aren't working hours for the project. You can set the resource to be available 168 hours per week, but if the project says working hours are M-F 9-5, you won't see the resource assigned any hours outside of M-F 9-5.

You set the project schedule in the same way and place as you do individual resource schedules, except you don't have any resources selected when you do it. Look at my first screen shot.
