Dates in Gantt chart skipping a whole year... Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hello clever omni-bods,

I am building a programme plan and have stumbled across (what appears to be) a glitch that I can't figure out … the Gantt chart seems to skip from March 2012 to April 2013 without any months imbetween … a screen shot is attached to this thread.

Help!
Steven

Have you been setting the project schedule on the calendar at all? Periods where the project has no working hours won't be shown in the Gantt chart.

If that doesn't explain the problem (and I'm not at all sure that it does explain what you are seeing, although it could produce that result), use Help->Send Feedback to send a copy of your plan file to Omni. All the data is desensitized (tasks turn into Task 1, Task 2, etc., notes and names are replaced by strings of 'x' characters, etc.). Hard to get all of the needed details from a screen shot!

Thanks for posting – this was it. I went to prefs and reset the various sections to original settings and that sorted it. I think I had it displaying the FY year-end rather than year-start…

Thanks!
