It only scales the width to one page. Not the length. It takes what you see on screen, width-wise, and stretches it to fit the page width. If the printed font doesn't need to be an exact size, then it's not too bad. But you may need to resize the width of the window before printing if you have it really wide. Use the print preview option to see what it does.
