No, its OO4 and I started a new file just to make sure it wasn't an OO3 relic.

I have rebooted.

I've appreciate your help, even if I can't get it working, so thanks for your time today my friend :)
 
One last idea... my install is the Pro version, but it doesn't say Pro in the menu bar.

It does say in on the window About OmniOutline Pro (my build version is 5A2034a).

OO3 said Pro in the menu bar... could there be an error in that I don't have the Pro version so scripts don't work?
 
Fixed it and got scripts into the tool bar.

Not sure how as I did two things.

I retyped the name of the folder I'd created in the Apple Scripts folder in Finder (in case I'd made a typo), and I removed all the scripts and just put in the two I wanted to use.

Either way, it works now.
