Change stencil for entire graph? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I want to change the stencil used for our entire graph from an omni-people stencil to an Org Chart stencil.

I've tried highlighting the entire graph and then choosing a different stencil with no luck.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

(I'm a new user and I am using OmniGraffle Pro v 5.3.6)

Thanks!

Is it possible that you mean to change the diagram style, not the stencil? Let's hope so, because it isn't possible to change the stencil and have previously used objects follow suit.

Format->Choose Diagram Style... may do what you want. Check out the online help for using diagram styles, too.

No, I want to change the stencil graph wide, not the diagram.

It's unfortunate that you can't change the stencil (graph) wide. I see MANY requests for this in this forum going back a long, long time. I am very surprised that this is not an option and this feature request by the users seems to have been ignored by the Omni Group.

Oh well, we create many different graphs with the same diagram but different stencils all of the time in Visio. Looks like I just wasted $199 for a program that we can not use.

Didn't waste anything except a little time. Contact Omni within 30 days of purchase and you can get a full refund if you aren't satisfied.
