Formatting Data Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I've selected several distinctive fonts and colors for my omnifocus file on my laptop which I have grown quite partial to. When I copy the file to my desktop, however, the formatting gets left behind.

How can I include the formatting instructions when I copy the file to my desktop?

Thanks.

Scott, the settings you're looking for are stored in the OmniFocus preferences file, not in the database where we store your data.

Look for a file named 'com.omnigroup.omnifocus' in this folder on your machine:
<your home folder>/Library/Preferences

Move that file over to the same location on your other machine and you should be good to go.

(But keep in mind that you're moving *all* the settings from the one machine over to the other.)

Thanks for the help, Brian. That seems pretty straightforward.
