OF database created in 10.4. Open in 10.5 and some details missing Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hy

I'm testing OF 96430.
I created some folders, projects and actions under 10.4.10.
I start my Mac again with 10.5.1 and open the same OS database.
Some actions not in the OF database.
I look and see that 2 actions and 3 single action list not in the database.

All 5 actions have a clock symbol near the item, see screenshot.

What's my mistake ?

I cannot attach the screenshot

It's a .jepg with 24 kb ?

Jochen,

The clock symbol means that those projects are "pending". This means that they have start dates in the future. I'm guessing that you have different view bar settings. One is showing Active projects. The other is showing All or Remaining projects.

Maybe You are right, but I have not done something like All or Remaining projects. Where can I make this ?

My screenshot on left side show10.4.10
My screenshot on right show 10.5.1

You can see that 10.5.1 show only the folder "Angebote" with 2 items.
This 2 items I can see also in 10.4.10.
The other folder show only a triangel without items in the folder.

Edit:

I was to quick and maybe I'm stupid ;-)

I have mark in menü Percspectives "All items" and now I can see the missing actions under 10.5.1 ;-)

I'm at the start of testing OF.

Turn on the View Bar by choosing menu View --> Show View Bar. The selection of which projects to view is on the left end of the view bar.

Your screenshots clearly show that you have different view settings when running under the two different operating systems. This is most likely because the two different OSs are using different preference files for OmniFocus.
