This is a script that sorts the sidebar alphabetically.
This is a bit of a hack in that is uses UI scripting to control the menu. As such you need to have "Allow Assistive Devices" enabled in the Universal Access prefpane.
This will sort whatever is currently in the sidebar, and will dive into and sort any subfolders
If you want to only sort a single folder, focus on it first. It will try to preserve the expanded state of any folder.
This may run slightly faster if you set your viewbar to something restrictive (flagged, over 1 hr) that way OF doesn't try to update the content area as much.
Note this does NOT work as a toolbar script - there is some sort of issue accessing menu items when run as a toolbar or menu script.
You can save an as app for easier access.
Performing a backup first is advisable :D
