placing magnets and not affect other lines Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi there,

I am placing magnets so I can draw more lines between shapes.

WHen I place a magnet all the other magnets move closer to the placed magnet. How do I stop that behavior?

Lines typically desire to snap to the nearest magnet, however you can directly connect a line to a given magnet to ensure its connection place -- Instead of the entire shape "throbbing" with the highlight color, the magnet itself will (it can be hard to see).

Hope that helps,

I guess i ma not explaining the problemt that well. Something strange is happening for me. I have four magnets on a shape when I place a fifth sometimes three or sometimes four of the other magnets will move to a closer position to the fifth magnet I just placed.

Any clues why that Is happening and how can I stop the behavior.

Cheers,

Noah

That shouldn't be happening at all, I'd recommend sending in feedback to omnigraffle@omnigroup.com so we can take a closer look at it.
