feature request: hiding/collapsing columns Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I've been trying different methods to organize my information. Each method seems to have at least one disadvantage. For one set of data, the best method I was able to find has the disadvantage of creating lots of columns which makes if difficult to browse the data. So I was wondering how useful it would be to be able to select a group of columns and hide them. Even more powerful would be the ability to organize columns hierarchically and collapse them similar to how it's done with rows. It would be interesting to see how this feature might be integrated with the interface.

As always, if you want your feature request officially noted, use Help->Send Feedback to send it to Omni, or send email to omnioutliner@omnigroup.com. That's the only reliable way it gets into their system to be counted when they are deciding what to do next.

I will do that, thanks.
