I was wondering if it is possible to replace the badge OF has on the dock icon to show the amount of due tasks? I find the current badge waaay too small and bleak. The native badge used for Mail, and other apps is much better

Not currently. Use Help → Send Feedback to submit feature suggestions to get them entered in the development database. (See this sticky thread at the top of the forum for details.)
