Omnifocus errors in Console log Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I'm running sneaky peek. Current build = 104795 on OSX 10.5.4 , but this problem has been occurring over the last several preview builds of OF 1.1.
The symptom is that Omnifocus will freeze up (rolling beachball) at seemingly random intervals. It's typically not while working with the program, i.e. it's never frozen up in foreground, only while in background.

Checking the console log shows the following consistently on OF startup:

9/12/08 3:40:54 PM OmniFocus[25781] Ignoring tail <XMLTransaction:0x1389ea50 20080724142526=cha1DS-fTsE+peXx-zSim5R.zip> which can't reach a root in <XMLTransactionGraph: 0x17052050>
9/12/08 3:40:54 PM OmniFocus[25781] Disconnected transactions:
{(
"<XMLTransaction:0x1389ea50 20080724142526=cha1DS-fTsE+peXx-zSim5R.zip>",
"<XMLTransaction:0x138761c0 20080724142429=fnxJ9UaAOav+cha1DS-fTsE.zip>"
)}

This is at startup, not when the program freezes. There's nothing in the log right before freeze-up.

To my untrained eyes, these look to be database errors, so I tried rebuilding the database, and turning syncing on and off. To no avail.

Any ideas?

Hmm, I don't know. But I agree that it doesn't look so good.

You should probably get in touch with the support ninjas by selecting "Send Feedback" from the Help menu. They may or may not see you request for help on this forum.
