How do you turn off the snap to middle or what ever is happing.

I am trying to create a flowchart. I have a bunch of boxes laid out the way I want. I then add an arrow going from one box to another one. The next thing that happens is all the boxes move to the middle.

You can turn off automatic layout in the Diagram Layout Inspector, keep in mind that some templates have this setting turned on (those in Org Charts and Brainstorming), and other templates have it off.
